Welcome! Simply Southern Alpacas is a full-service Huacaya alpaca farm located just east of Charlotte, North Carolina in picturesque Union County, convenient to Interstates I-85, I-77, and I-485.

It is so easy to see why everyone who meets an alpaca falls in love! Our neighbor's granddaughter, Karmyn, is only four years old and already an ardent admirer of these kind and gentle animals. They love her as well. Anytime she comes to visit, the entire herd runs the gate to greet her. The photographer was skeptical when we inquired about bringing an alpaca into his studio. He was totally amazed by the two of them! We were equally proud. This was Miss Meli's first photo shoot and Karmyn was able to show her the ropes in short order. Everyone who sees this photograph wants to know where we got that cute "stuffed animal" and such a precious little girl. We just smile and invite everyone to come and visit our farm to meet them both in person!
